Tokyo Barber Shop: a website, a booking system and an app
A barber shop and day-spa in BKK1, Phnom Penh. We built its website, its booking system and its iPhone app — and the booking system became SlotFlow.

The shop
In the heart of BKK1: classic cuts, hot-towel shaves, facials, foot and body massage, and waxing, seven days a week from 9:00 to 20:00. A team of barbers, stylists and therapists, and a booking list that has to be right every day.
The problem
Bookings arrive from everywhere: the website, the phone, Messenger, and people who walk in. Before this system the shop booked through another app, and moving to its own system meant carrying the customer list across.
What the shop needed was simple to say and harder to build: one schedule the staff could run from a phone, a booking page in Khmer and English, and its own app for regular customers.
What we built
- The websiteA Khmer and English site: services, the team, the gallery, the hours and the address, and a booking button on every page.
- The booking systemThe online booking page plus a control panel: confirm, move or cancel a booking, add a phone or walk-in booking, and see the day at a glance. New online bookings arrive on the owner's phone in Telegram.
- The iPhone appFree, and for this shop's customers only: choose services, choose a barber by photo, pick a day and time. The booking goes to the shop as a request, and the customer is told when the shop confirms.
How a booking works
- The customer books on the website or in the app.
- The shop gets it on Telegram and confirms with one tap.
- It lands on the schedule, and the customer is notified.
- In the app, a booking can be changed or cancelled up to two hours before, and a reminder arrives before the appointment.
Results
Live since August 2026. More than 1,500 real bookings have gone through the system.
The booking engine behind the shop is now SlotFlow, which other barbershops and salons can use.
Also in the app
A standard or private VIP room on selected services, one tap to call the shop, English and Khmer, and Face ID to keep the account private. No payment in the app — customers pay at the shop.
