VeasDei — Privacy Policy

VeasDei is a land-measuring app made in Cambodia. This page describes exactly what the app does with your information. There is no account, no advertising, and no tracking.

Your measurements stay on your phone

The plots you measure — their corners, areas, names, notes, pins and saved routes — are stored in a database inside the app on your phone. They are not uploaded anywhere, and we cannot see them. If you delete the app, that data goes with it. You can export your plots at any time as KML, CSV, GeoJSON, GPX, KMZ, Shapefile or DXF, or as a PDF report; exports are handed to your phone's share menu, and you decide where they go.

Location

VeasDei asks for your location to show you on the map, to measure with GPS (walk mode) and to centre the map on you. Location is used only while you use the app. We never store your location or build a history of where you have been. It is sent to our server only when you ask for directions from your current location, to calculate the route, and is not kept. If you decline location access, the app still works — you can tap corners on the map, or use the crosshair, and enter coordinates by hand.

Maps, search and directions

The map, place search and directions need the internet. Map imagery comes from Google Maps by default; you can switch the map to Apple Maps in the app's Settings. Place search uses our own search server at route.lemonium.app (OpenStreetMap data). If you type a full street address, the app may also ask Apple's geocoding service, and Apple's service shows the address of a pin. Driving directions come from our own routing server at route.lemonium.app. To answer a search or a route request, the relevant coordinates or search words are sent to those services — that is how any map app works. Directions and search requests are rate limited per IP address. Our server logs keep the IP address and time for up to 14 days for security only, never your coordinates or search words, and we don't link them to you.

Google Maps (iPhone and Android): VeasDei shows the map with Google Maps by default; you can switch to Apple Maps in Settings. Google may collect device IDs, app interactions, crash logs and diagnostics. It uses them for analytics and app functionality and does not share them. This is described under Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Your saved plots are not sent to Google.

Share links (optional)

A share link is optional and you create it yourself, one plot at a time. When you choose to share a plot, the app uploads its corner points, area and perimeter, and, only if you entered them, the land title number and title area, to our own server at lemonium.app. Anyone with the link can see these. Nothing else is sent: no plot name, no note, no device identifier and no location history. You can delete your link from inside the app at any time, and the page stops working immediately.

Delete your data

There is no account and no login in VeasDei. Deleting your data never means asking us or signing in — and we never have a password of yours to lose.

Your plots, pins and saved routes are stored only inside the app on your phone. Delete one inside the app (Saved plots → the plot → Delete — the delete can be undone for five seconds), or delete the app itself and everything it holds goes with it. A backup of your phone that you made yourself may still hold a copy.

A share link you created is removed from our service the moment you tap Unlink in the app (on the plot → Share → Unlink): the public page stops working immediately and cannot be opened again. The entry is marked deleted in our share store at once, and the store's file is rewritten without deleted entries when it is compacted.

What still exists on our server: the IP address and time of a request, kept for up to 14 days for security only (see the section above). No account, no name and no device identifier is linked to it, so we cannot pick out one person's entries — if you want those log files cleared before their 14 days are up, email us and we will clear them.

No ads, no tracking, no analytics

There are no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no cookies and no identifiers for advertising in this app. We do not collect a device ID, we do not profile you, and we do not sell or share anything. When the map is Google Maps, it may send Google basic diagnostics and crash data, as described above.

Children

The app is a measuring tool for general use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact
